The review of the Japanese restaurant in Turkey by a native Japanese.

I went to the Japanese restaurant in Turkey.

That restaurant's name is "Wagamama"

By the way, Wagamama means selfish in Japanese.

I who is a native Japanese tried eating sushi and ramen there.

That sushi!!

and ramen!!

That thoughts is sushi is almost the same as Japanese sushi.

But ramen is different.

It’s a Japanese ramen.

Japanese people generally eat ramen with a Chinese soup spoon.

But in Turkey's case,

This one.

I have no idea what I should call this.

It looks similar to a ladle.

But Japanese people don't eat ramen with a ladle.

About dumpling.

The collaboration is usual which is ramen with dumplings in Japan as well.

But it's usually on another dish.

I've never seen dumplings on soup in Japan.

And general is baked dumplings to eat with ramen.
Japanese people don’t eat fried dumplings with ramen.
I'd never seen that collaboration.

I don't know if it's the Turkish people's preference or just a misunderstanding.

But about noodles, It's almost the same as the Japanese ones.

The difference is the soup.

It's not Japanese taste.

If I have to say that taste...

It's Vietnamese noodles that are called pho.

But Rice noodle is used by pho.

So Cut to the chase,

Turkish ramen is Japanese noodles put into a soup of Vietnamese pho.
It's like that taste for me.

The noodles taste is Japanese ramen.
The soup tastes is Vietnamese pho.
